Nothing like a change of scenery to get the creative juices flowing
This was my "office" for the day on Monday where I began fine tuning the
Reboot to Renew 5 day Programme beginning Sept 9th.
No matter where you are in the world change is in the air.
All around me there are signs that the warmer weather is on its way. Here in the Highlands, where the winters are a tad on the chilly side, the deciduous trees are starting to bud. I have a magnificent magnolia outside my back door that is just ready to burst with big purple flowers. Blossoms are already adding colour to what has been a grey and cool landscape.
My routine has been different than usual. Dealing with my website and going through the writing process has seen me sit for longer periods than usual. Just like the trees around me, I have hibernated. Energy is a little stagnant in some areas.
Stagnation is heavy and dense…one could say BOTTOM heavy…. Yikes!
There’s nothing like a day at the beach, also, to make you realize that swimsuit days are just around the corner.
But it’s not about a heavy bottom. Or wobbly thighs. Or a beer belly.
Really. It’s not.
It’s about raising your level of wellness so you can radiate and shine. It’s about brimming with vitality and being engaged with yourself and the world around you.
So, just as we spring clean our house, this is a great time to start thinking about spring cleaning ourselves from the inside out.
To start to create a foundation that won’t see you panic when the warm weather really hits.
We go from hibernating to recalibrating to celebrating a more energetic you.
Giving ourselves a little REBOOT TO RENEW is a helpful tool to get us back to what is a lifetime process.

- lethargy, cravings
- joint aches
- suppressed immunity
During a REBOOT, we look at the WHOLE you. Food is a major area, but we also look at our exercise and the stories we tell ourselves, and our frame of mind.
For 5 days:
- we acknowledge, address, and begin to shift habits to more productive ones
- we plan…this gives us a positive trajectory so we don’t sabotage our efforts, and helps to build new healthy habits
- we invest time in looking after ourselves
- we deal with the whole of us – our body and our mind and our spirit…what is holding you back from being the best version of yourself you can be
- we educate ourselves and open ourselves to new information
- we remove complicated recipes and replace them with simple, nourishing wholefoods
Basically we look at how we can make our lives more nourishing (checking in with Moore Nourishing is a start!)
