Sometimes he arrives with items that wouldn't even make the Bootleg Collection.

This is the ingredient list of something that arrived a little while ago...so many things, too many numbers....how does our body digest that??
We all have a choice as to what we make, eat, or purchase.
The great thing about the Bootleg Collection is that even though I may offer you a recipe that has a load more sugar or flour in it, all the ingredients will be of a substance you will recognise....there will be no preservatives, and no ingredients that you won't recognise as real food.
This biscuit is an old favourite...I'm writing this on the road, so I have no picture....you will just have to make them!
A good old fashioned butter biscuit.
1 1/2C icing sugar
1 tspn vanilla
2 1/2C flour
1/2 tspn bicarb
1 tspn baking powder
1/4 tspn salt
1 1/2C roughly chopped walnuts
Preheat the oven to 190C
Cream butter and sugar
Add egg and vanilla
Sift the flour, bicarb and baking powder
stir into the butter mixture with the nuts
Roll into balls
Press the tops very lightly with the back of a fork
Bake in oven for 10-12 mins
