A race to get out the door in the morning after that jolt of caffeine, like the starters gun, we fuel our bodies with something that is quick, easy and dubiously nutritious before a race to get the kids to school or before we get off to work in or out of the house. Phew.....
The day stretches out before us with hurdles and obstacles.
Rest and sleep in the night is often elusive as we retain the clutter in our heads.
The reality is that we can’t keep moving like that without some downtime. Not knowing how to slow down and switch the button to off, our downtime often includes a bottle of red and cheap take away in front of the television, which tends to massage a superficial need as opposed to nourishing our body and soul.
We push hard in our day-to-day life and sometimes it feels as though we just run out of fuel.
Our whole self becomes depleted.
How do we fill up our tanks again?
